4:56 pm	Weird dream It's hot, and I was so tired this afternoon, and I'm on vacation, after all, so I took a nap. I just wrested myself from one of those dreams that was almost a nightmare--you know, the kind that aren't so bad right then but that you know are going to get worse, so you make an effort to get out while you can?! 9:15 pm	Cingular crap Well, I knew Cingular and A T & T would wind up screwing me over, even though I stuck my contract out for a year after they screwed Leah over to the tune of $1,000.( Cingular crap ) Well, I've been at work both nights this week; tomorrow night I'll be home to watch the new "Elvis" DVD with Leah and fix Chinese food; then I have just one meeting Thursday morning and then the rest of Thursday and all day Friday as vacation days. 7:53 pm	My Clex-y Muses seemed to be returning a week or so ago, but are now making themselves scarce again. I was thinking this evening that maybe for a change of pace I should try another MR/TW RPS fic. So far, I have only one of these under my belt, as I find it: a) hard to find bunnies and b)a challenge to characterize both of them extensively--we hear comments they make in interviews and the occasional fan sighting (more MR than TW), but we don't really hear or see much of them, all in all, and it's been eons since we've had much in the way of TW fodder. Anyway, I'd be obliged if anyone knows anything about the logistical stuff in Vancouver (SV is still filmed there, isn't it?)--living arrangements and such. I remember reading several seasons ago that MR lived in a houseboat, but more recently that he just commutes from L.A. What about Tom? Does he live in B.C. during the filming season or does he commute as well? If he lives there, does Jamie live up there with him or does she stay in L.A.? I know I can make the reality whatever I choose, but I'd like to be as accurate as possible. :) (Comment on this)

11:31 pm	Crossroads, Chapter 24: "Never Again" Cross-posting the latest chapter of my Clex mpreg fic here. Earlier chapters archived on Live Journal. I realized while writing this that poor Clark has been pregnant for over a year! since the inaugural chapter of "Crossroads" was posted as part of the Mpreg Day festivities on May 22, 2006. I imagine he's anxious for it all to be over, poor baby. Another short chapter, to help him at least a little on his way. Thanks to ladydey for being my beta and brainstorming bud. 10:00 am	There was a BBC comedy program a while back called "Maid Marian and her Merry Men," somewhat of a spoof of "Robin of Sherwood," which portrayed Robin Hood as a dunce/dweeb and illustrated that Maid Marian was the true brains and resourcefulness behind the operation. Anyway, there was this opening song in one ep that went: "He's popuLAR...." You had to be there, no doubt, but it was good for some yucks. Anyway, this is the "PopuLAR" family cat, Merlin. 9:21 pm	First Post I set up this journal last week for several reasons. 1. It's good to have a backup journal. Of course, I have a GreatestJournal (name: svmaven) but I only use it when LJ has problems. Two reasons: it's enough of a challenge for me to keep up ONE online journal, much less two. So, now I have three. Go figure. 2. I'm philosophically opposed to censorship of any kind and I don't like the noises LJ/Six Apart have been making, both lately and over the past few months. 3. A lot of fellow fen seem to be setting up over here. I'm not sure how much I'll use it. I can cut/paste regular posts over here, and fics. The pic posts I do over at LJ can't be cut/pasted, and would be too time-consuming to do in more than one place. I'm finding it rather hard to figure out the navigation here; can you even upload photos into posts? Anyway, here I am. Thanks to everyone who's friended me so far.
